Variopinto

A full digital rebuild for an audiovisual production company: a Figma-designed WordPress website, structured film portfolio, newsletter infrastructure, email migration, SEO foundations and ongoing maintenance.

  • Portfolio CMS
  • Mailchimp
  • Google Workspace
  • SEO and analytics
  • Maintenance

The brief

A production company needed more than a new website.

Variopinto needed a new digital home around its reel, clients and audiovisual projects. The work became a broader digitalisation layer: website design and build, portfolio architecture, newsletter setup, email migration, SEO, analytics, backups and a maintainable WordPress foundation.

16project assets prepared
2site backups secured
1Workspace migration plan
360website plus operations

Designed site

A custom WordPress build from the Figma direction, with responsive layouts, a cinematic home, clear service sections, clients and a focused contact flow.

Portfolio architecture

A structured project system with filters, search, Vimeo embeds and a clean split between commercial work and documentary pieces.

Operational migration

Email continuity, Google Workspace setup, DNS/MX coordination, legacy backups and a safer handover from the previous digital stack.

Website architecture

A cinematic front-end backed by an editable project system.

The site was planned so the public layer could feel visual and simple while the back office stayed practical: reusable project pages, optimised imagery, Vimeo-ready fields, service copy, client proof, contact automation and a newsletter capture flow.

Migration and growth

The hidden work behind launch.

A public website only works if the operational layer is solid. Alongside the build, I prepared the newsletter flow, email migration and measurement stack so the team could operate the site without depending on a developer for every small change.

Mailchimp and newsletter

Newsletter popup, Mailchimp connection, database preparation, campaign template implementation and send workflow for launch communications.

Google Workspace

Mailbox migration planning, DNS/MX coordination and continuity checks so the company email layer moved cleanly with the new digital setup.

SEO and measurement

On-page SEO, metadata, sitemap, schema preparation, Search Console and Analytics foundations around production-company positioning.

Implementation path

Designed, migrated and left maintainable.

Backup and staging

Old and new web packages were preserved before launch work, making the rebuild reversible and easier to compare.

WordPress rebuild

The Figma direction was translated into a responsive WordPress site with reusable sections and project templates.

Workspace migration

Email, DNS and Google Workspace continuity were planned alongside the website, not treated as an afterthought.

Launch operations

Mailchimp, SEO, analytics, cache, security, backups and maintenance were prepared as part of the handover.

Digital foundation

A site that can keep working after launch.

The final system included WordPress and plugin updates, cache and performance control, image optimisation, security monitoring, backups, support and a quarterly newsletter workflow. The goal was not only to launch a better-looking site, but to leave Variopinto with a digital base they could keep using.

Live website Variopinto is now public. The portfolio case keeps the process and technical scope here, and links out to the production website.
